ATG’s employee-selection and –promotional systems include a variety of screening and assessment activities that predict successful job performance. Depending on our client’s unique needs, these tools may include weighted application blanks, scoreable interviews, personal-style questionnaires and problem-solving simulations. These are often complemented by assessments the client completes online.
Most companies greatly underestimate the cost of employee turnover or poor performance. But that cost can often be staggering, seriously hampering the organization’s profitability and performance. ATG’s selection systems can dramatically reduce the cost of doing business by identifying candidates who are most likely to stay on the job and perform exceedingly well.
We design our system to achieve results, taking into consideration each client’s unique culture and performance requirements. And we can execute our selection systems in virtually any language.
The right employee will require less training time, become productive more quickly and respond more positively to management. We design our system to achieve these results, taking into consideration each client’s unique culture and performance requirements. And we can execute our systems in virtually any language.
We design our selection and promotion systems not just for each client, but for each specific job or family of jobs. The process starts with a Work-Profiling job analysis which identifies key work tasks, major job-context elements and desired applicant attributes. To achieve an effective design, we often observe people already on the job, interview employees or conduct focus groups.
Next, we create and test the appropriate weighted application blanks, scoreable interviews and other tools. During the process, we may even perform competency assessment on incumbent employees to establish criteria for success.
ATG has implemented employee-selection and -promotional systems in such diverse situations as:
- Entry-level employees in a transportation company
- Technical and professional employees in restoration contracting
- Area coordinators in a servicing network
- Entry-level employees in financial recovery
- Owner/operators in a vehicle-service franchise
- Account executives in high-end financial services
- Sales executives in medical products
- Fitness trainers in a luxury fitness environment
